Drug Awareness Training Level 1

The course is ideal for anyone looking to refresh their drugs awareness and develop a better understanding.

This drug training supports the following DANOS units:

• AA1: Recognise indications of substance misuse and refer individuals to specialists
• AB2: Support individuals who are substance users
• AB5: Assess and act upon immediate risk of danger to substance users
• AD1: Raise awareness about substances, their use and effects
• HSC33: Reflect on and develop your practice

This level of detail covered in the course is equivalent to Tier 1 drug training.
